What really does happen on those "Girl Weekends" you always hear about anyway?
A few weeks ago I got together with 15 of the best friends anyone could ever ask for. We try and get together every year or so. This year it was Breckenridge, CO. We rented a really nice house just outside of town for 3 nights/4 days. It was so nice to see everyone again. These women are amazing and I just love them all. So what do 15 women do when they're away from their spouses/kids for a weekend? Let's see... four of them got tattos, one got her brow pierced. A handfull of them went to the spa for a day. Not me. I went ziplining instead. 6 jumps in all. This run was 200 feet in the air, 1,000 feet down a canyon just outside of Vail, Colorado. They estimate I was going about 35 miles an hour. :)
Our next trip is already being planned for September 2010 in New Hampshire. I can't wait!
