Last night I was trying to get the girls to calm down enough to go to bed. But they were having entirely too much fun. Giggling, laughing, tickling each other... it was a hoot to watch them. But suddenly, their big hug began to roll and poor C bounced off the bed. I dove toward her trying to catch her, but over she went. I jumped up, ran around the side of the bed and scooped her up. She must have landed nicely because she had a quick recovery.

One Little Monkey Jumping on the Bed....
E was jumping and giggling, just as happy as could be. She quickly tucked her knees underneath her body as if to land on them in a kneeling position. Unfortunately for her, she landed on my legs which acted like a springboard and launched her over the side of the bed. She landed on her head.... and obviously on something.. I'm not sure what though. Her head immediately swelled up. I scooped up the two girls, carried them both down stairs into the kitchen, and got them both a bag of ice.
This picture was taken the next day. I had taken one immediately following the incident, but for some reason I'm having difficulty sending it to my online album.
