Just Another Day

It was just another day here. It was a Saturday. One of the first nice weather days of the year. The neighbor was getting ready to take her baby for a walk and asked Elizabeth if she wished to join her. Elizabeth of course said yes, and she rushed to get ready. I happened to look out my back window where I saw her ready and waiting. She had grabbed her teddy bear, a doll carrier, and her firefighter hat for the occasion. It was one of those moments where I looked at her and in an instant, I was 4 again. It just seemed like something I would have done. I felt as if I was looking at myself, 31 years ago. That happens often with Elizabeth. She is so much like me. I often feel like I'm raising myself. I just happened to catch this moment on camera.
