Signs your kids have been left to play alone for too long..

Sign number 42:
When you walk into your living room to see it's getting dark outside and the blinds are wide open. Your lights are on so the whole house is on display for all to see. Your 2 year old is now naked from the waist down. Your 4 year old has a rotten banana peel that she found behind the sofa, and is running round slapping her 2 year old sister on the butt. As both girls are giggling uncontrollably, the 4 year old exclaims: "Look Mommy! We're playing the banana slapping game!"


What's worse is I made a bee line for the blinds (aka: DFCS covers), closed them and then went back up stairs... leaving everything else exactly as it were. As I was walking away I heard more giggling, laughing, and playing.

It happened. They stunned me into silence.
