Not a Creature Was Stirring...

It was 10:00 at night and all were asleep... or so I thought.

I was sitting in my dark office with a just a little desk lamp bright enough to light up the keyboard... trying to get some mommy time..... when all of a sudden, I feel the presence of a little girl standing next to me. My kids go to bed at 9:00. Everyone *should be* asleep... As I'm typing I turn around and this is what I see... (thank you cell phone cameras ) She is COVERED in lotion. It's all over her hands, face, and up into her hair.

Me: Well, hello...
E: Hi
Me: (trying really hard not to laugh) What's going on?
E: "Mommy, I was really sweaty and Caroline is sleeping so I needed some lotion, but just a little bit of lotion, not soap, because I wasn't dirty. I was sweaty all over, so I needed some lotion, but not too much lotion. *BREATH* Mommy, are you sweaty? Do you need lotion?"

And this is her saying "Look Mommy. Get a picture of my hands! " LOL!






Nothing like an impromptu shower at 10:00! Silly kid.
